Bristol Systems sells only two standard servers in a pedestal form factor: a low-end server and a mid-range server. The low-end server has mirrored disks, and the mid-range server has a three disk IDE RAID5 storage system. Both have tape backup as an option. Both can be configured with MS Windows or with Linux for a server operating system.

Once your business needs more than a few servers, it makes a lot of sense to put them into a rack or cabinet. Rack-mountable servers are 19" wide and come in various heights and depths. You can get a lot of server in a 1U height (1.75") and a 30" depth form factor. We sell three standard 1U servers: a low-end server optimized for cost, a mid-range server optimized for value, and a high-end server optimized for performance.
