Office Ensemble™

Office Ensemble™ is the Bristol Systems suite of server-based office applications.  These applications are designed to work seamlessly with standard desk-top applications.  The most optimal deployment is illustrated below where services such as Mail and (external) Web services, including Proxy services, are on separate servers in an area specially protected by firewalls (a "DMZ".)  File, Relational Database (RDB) Servers, and other office and system servers are placed in the local internal LAN protected by the Internal Firewall.  Both the DMZ are the Internal LAN are protected by Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).  Each server application, including the firewalls, can be replicated for high-availability systems.
