BSI Project Management is a combination of services that provides not only full or part-time project management assistance but also senior level problem resolution assistance and consulting. Typically, our support team consists of a part-time senior consultant and a full-time project manager. Both work under the direction of the overall program manager. We provide:

The written identification of the program’s business intent and quantifiable goals. The business environment will be evaluated and monitored for changes that might affect the program.
An evaluation of required versus internally available resources with recommendations, if necessary, to acquire additional resources or to outsource parts of the program.
Preparation and evaluation of Requests For Proposals (RFP’s) and Quotes (RFQ’s).
Vendor negotiations and relationships.
Well-defined base levels in a unified schedule. Expected completion times for base levels are computed for the entire program.
The maintenance of the program schedule using modern earned value techniques.
Regular program-level operational reviews – both incremental and in-depth – which evaluate component requirements and specifications, development status, potentially changing requirements, and adjustments to the program.
Resolution of problems – particularly those that transcend organizational boundaries.
Evaluation of base level and final deliverables for components and systems. This can include customer requirements, validation and verification as well as beta testing.
Collection of phase-completion metrics, and the management of process improvement procedures.
